Hear Chinese heritage—alive, contemporary, and beautifully performed.
For the first time in Canberra, a well-known Sydney-based performing arts ensemble presents Back to Future, an live music program created for the festival. The performers are professional artists and educators who bring audiences closer to Chinese classical and folk traditions through refined performance and friendly, accessible explanation.
The concert features a cast of nearly 20 performers on site, and is presented in three acts, shaped by the rise and fall of different musical themes and atmospheres. To enrich the visual storytelling and festival experience, the ensemble performs in Hanfu (traditional Chinese attire), offering audiences an immediate sense of cultural elegance and continuity.
